William Paul Hutchens

William (Bill) Paul Hutchens, 80, of Albany, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2014, Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis.

Bill was born in South Dakota, the son of Paul and Mildred (Phipps) Hutchens. He grew up and graduated from high school in Oakland, California.

Bill married Terry Sanders in 1957. They moved to Albany in 1968 and Bill worked for Willamette Industries until his retirement.

Bill was very involved in his church. He served as a deacon and Sunday school teacher. He was a great dad and husband.

Bill is survived by his wife, Terry; daughters, Judy Littrell and her husband Doug, Lynda Roegner and her husband Randy, Karen Wrighthouse and her husband Randy, Pam Gering and her husband Mark; three sisters, Eleanor Varles, Jean Dorsey and Janice Strickland; and his brother, Don Hutchens; twelve grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of life will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, at Grace Bible Fellowship, 33990 McFarland Rd, Tangent.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to missions through Grace Bible Fellowship.
