Shirley A. Iverson, 85 of Albany, passed away at home on January 11, 2021. She was born on September 11, 1935 in Harlan, IA to William and Maude McGee (Tucker).

Shirley's family of 4 boys and 4 girls moved to Winlock, WA area around 1940 where she graduated from high school. She married Eugene L. Iverson in 1955 and eventually settled in the Albany area in 1961.

Shirley had four children in a five year span; Stephen, Vickie, Karla, and Jeffrey. Shirley is survived by 11 grandchildren, and 13 great grand children.

Shirley loved her family dearly and was the glue that held it together. Shirley had a special soft spot in her heart for little ones. There was always a sparkle in her eyes when she got to see you and always words of encouragement and love no matter what the circumstances. Shirley was an avid plant and garden person, there wasn't much she couldn't make grow.

She will be so missed by her family and friends but she would want everyone to carry on in love, compassion, and acceptance. Shirley attended Calvary Community Church since coming to Albany in 1961.
