Dani and family: Words alone can't express the sadness we feel for your loss. Randy loved his family and dearly loved God. Praying for your family as a new and difficult chapter in your lives begin. I pray that some laughter will ease your sadness and remind you that we love you.

Dani and family, I am so sorry for your loss. I didn't know Randy well, but he always treated me with kindness, even in contexts (like high school) when other peers did not. I'm praying for you all.

Last time I saw Randy was at church during prayer time. Pastor was praying for everyone but then we specifically prayed for Randy. I just remember him saying "I trust you Lord." I was struck by his faith and trust right then. It has really stuck with me since. Thank you Randy for your faithfulness and witness to the Lord.

I remember Randy as an infielder for Santiam Christian in the early 80's . He was as good as I can remember at scooping up grounders. Later on I would see Randy at church , working out at The Courthouse Athletic Club in Salem or at the basketball camp at South Salem High where I ran a camp that his daughter attended. Wherever he was, he was always friendly and happy and I always knew it was because of the love of Christ inside. That is how I will always remember him.

Randy, I think you were about 9 years old when you first came to Albany and I would see you when I would hang out with your sister Melodie at your house or wherever. Later I would see you with Dani and other family at the house when your dad died. Time flew by and you got married to Dani and had 3 kids. Then you were serving on the church board which was no easy task! But through all these times of your life one thing always remains in my memory......your sweet smile and gentle manner. That really showed up to me when you were a greeter and usher at the door at church. Your family and friends will really miss you, but our loss is heaven's gain. See you later! Marlene McWilliams
