Almon (Allie) Mitchell, 101, passed away on Friday, in Corvallis.

Allie was born to Flora (Dickey) and Brady Wilbert Mitchell in Mannford, Oklahoma.  Allie was the middle of nine children all who preceded him in death.

Allie was married twice, both wives preceded him in death.  He was married to Maudie Kinion for 53 years.  They had six children; Marlene (deceased), Marlin (Kathy), Jacklyn (deceased), Florence (John), Glenn and Pamela; eleven grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.  Allie was married to Mary Mae Green for 13 years.

Allie enjoyed the outdoors, from Arizona to Alaska, and especially the high desert of Central Oregon.  He liked hunting, trapping, fishing, and reading his Bible.  Allie had a great sense of humor and like to joke; but most of all he loved his family and Christ Jesus, his savior.
