Angela Marie Halsey Miner  February 15, 1975 -- Nov. 6, 2009 Angela Marie Halsey Miner 34, passed away Friday at Samaritan Albany General Hospital.She was born in Corvallis to Danny and Linda (Combs) Halsey.Angela was a graduate of South Albany High School and was married in 2006. She loved Teddy bears and was always surrounded by them!She enjoyed singing karaoke and was often heard singing along to her favorite song!  She also enjoyed participating in Special Olympics and was very proud of the medals earned while participating in bowling, volleyball, and basketball.  Angela also enjoyed being a mentor to other Special Olympic participants.She was very big hearted and had a great love of animals. Angela's big heart, love of family and concern for others will be missed by those who knew her best.Angela is survived by husband, Anthony Miner of Albany;  parents Danny and Linda Halsey of Albany; siblings Debbie and Mark Halland of Everett, Wash., Brian and Deb Pryor of Sisters, Vicki and Spencer Mills of Portland, Jimmey and Tina Halsey of Albany, and Kristi and Mike Steeprow of Sherwood; six nieces and five nephews who she loved dearly. A funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at AAsum-Dufour Funeral Home with committal to follow at Willamette Memorial Park.  A reception to be held at the home of Jimmey & Tina Halsey.   In lieu of flowers please consider a teddy bear or blanket that will be donated in her name to the ABC house of Albany.  AAsum-Dufour Funeral Home is handling the arrangements ( www.aasu-dufour.com ).
