Anthony "Tony" Brian Miner
Aug. 12, 1959 - June 19, 2015
Tony was born and raised in Sweet Home to James M. and Dorothy (Dickinson) Miner. He graduated from Sweet Home High School in 1980. After high school Tony worked for Willamette Valley Rehab in Lebanon and Sunshine Industries in Sweet Home. Having lived in various places around Linn County, Tony last resided in Sweet Home.
Tony was an avid sports fan. He especially loved football with his favorite teams being the Sweet Home Huskies and Oregon Ducks. He ran the chain for many years at most of the Husky football games. He also participated in many Special Olympic events including bowling, and basketball.
Tony is survived by brothers David, Danny and Jan Miner; Dale, Mike and Helen; Ron, Ted and Mindy; Bill and Cindy; sisters Ethel Gray and Sharon Miner; brother-in-law John Baugus and sister-in-law Maureen Miner; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his mother and father-in-law, Linda and Danny Halsey, who were with him until the very end.
In 2006 Tony married his soulmate, Angela Halsey, who preceded him in death in 2009. He was also preceded in death by his parents; brothers Jimmy, Joe, Bobby and Lloyd; and sister Joyce (Miner) Baugus.

A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Friday, June 26, at Willamette Memorial Park.
