Arlene Fay Lowrie

Arlene Fay Lowrie, 80, of Albany passed away on Tuesday at the Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center.
Arlene was born in Salinas, California, to John and Lois (Maw) McFee. The family moved to Prineville when Arlene was a youth and attended Crook County High School. She soon married David Bottero. They started a family and lived in both Prineville and Seattle, Washington.
David and Arlene divorced in 1975 and on Dec. 3, 1978, she married Edward E. Lowrie in Albany.
Arlene was a loving wife, mother, homemaker, nurse's aide and caregiver. She was willing to share the love she had for Jesus and to pray and minister to all. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, reading, worshiping in song, spending time with friends and family, and turtles. She was a member of Red Hat Society and Albany First Assembly of God. Most recently she was attending Albany Missionary Baptist Church.
Arlene had a gift of sharing love with others, as well as praying for many peoples need, she was truly a wonderful friend to everyone she met.
Arlene is survived by daughters Paula Kay and husband Ed Babcock of Donald, Oregon, and Patricia Marie and husband Robert Nesbitt of Kent, Washington; grandchildren Jeremiah Daniel Nesbitt, Emily Kathleen Babcock, Aubrey Rebekah Gillooly, Aaron Joseph Babcock and Ryan Joseph Nesbitt; great-grandchildren Abbigail Joyce Babcock, Jeffrey Jacob Frikins, Ava Mae Babcock, Damien Kael Babcock, Cameron Donald Gillooly, Gavin Alan Babcock, Dylan Robert Gillooly and Keylee Dawn Babcock; brother Gordon and Sharon McFee of Lebanon; sister Karolyn and William Blalack of Jefferson; and David Bottero, father of Paula and Patricia.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Everett Lowrie; four unborn sons; and sister Teresa Bidiman.
A celebration of life will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2016, at AAsum-Dufour Funeral Home. Private inurnment will take place at Oak Lawn Memorial Park.
