Barbara GoinNovember 14, 1920 - November 4, 2008Barbara Goin, 87 of Albany, died Tuesday.  She was born in Karlsruhe, North Dakota and lived in North Dakota until she moved to Albany in 1950.She married Donald M. Goin on Dec. 10, 1961.  She worked for Cornet Variety Store for twenty years, three years for Bill's Flower Tree in Corvallis, and six and a half years at the Clothes Tree in Corvallis until she retired.She is survived by husband Donald Goin; daughters Patricia Matson and Katherine Bingham; four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, three stepchildren and four step grandchildren; sister Margaret; and brothers Lawrence, Anton Jr. and Daniel.A celebration of life will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at AAsum-Dufour Funeral Home.  Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association in care of the funeral home.  AAsum-Dufour Funeral Home is handling the arrangements ( www.aasum-dufour.com ).
