Barbara Ann Golden
June 15, 1947 — April 11, 2017
Barbara Ann Golden of Albany Oregon passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2017, at Samaritan
Evergreen Hospice House. She was 69.
Barb was born June 15, 1947, in Oakland, California, and was the daughter of Maurice and Clara
Harrison. Barbara moved with her family to Gridley California, where she married and raised
three children. Later Barb and Rick moved to the Oregon Coast where she worked at Rite-Aid
and Green Berry Industrial.
Barb was particularly fond of the beach. She enjoyed quilting, cooking, bike riding and fishing.
Barb had a strong affection for animals and often volunteered at Safe Haven Humane Society.
Barb is survived by her husband of 35 years, Rick Golden; three children, Crystal Root, Darin
and Bret Rogers; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and brother Jim Harrison.
At Barb's request, no services will be held. Her final resting place will be at Gridley Biggs
Memorial Cemetery in California.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Barb's name to Safe Haven Humane Society, in
Albany Oregon.
