Obituary
Berniece Irene Finegan 91 of Albany, passed away on Saturday, at Carlene's Comfort Care in Scio.
Berniece was born in Esbon, KS to Silas and Lula Belle (Carter) Archer. She grew up in Kansas and her family moved to Scio when she was ten. She married Clyde E. Finegan in Oceanside, CA. on June 25, 1945 and they moved to Lebanon in 1949 and finally to Albany in 1958. Berniece was an active member of Willamette Community Church and volunteered her time and talents in several ministries of the church. Her husband Clyde preceded her in death March 22, 2003. She enjoyed; gardening, cooking, and Church activities.
Berniece is survived by daughters Carol Jackson and husband Roy of Albany and Maleah Harris and husband Dave of Crabtree; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters; three brothers; and son Steven C. Finegan.
A funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday at Willamette Community Church with a graveside to follow at Willamette Memorial Park.
Memorial contributions may be made to Willamette Community Church in care of the funeral home.
