Betty Louise LarsellAug. 14, 1927 - July 27, 2009Betty Louise Larsell, 81, of Tangent passed away Monday at Samaritan Albany General Hospital.She was born in Portland the daughter of Walter and Ruth (Pearce) Simmons.  Betty was raised in Portland and graduated from Jefferson High School in 1944.  She married Richard "Dick" A. Larsell in Portland on July 1, 1949, and they moved to Albany shortly thereafter.  Betty was a dedicated mother to her four children and in 1972 she and Dick started Larsell Mechanical.  Betty enjoyed family, flowers and sports.She is survived by husband, Dick Larsell of Tangent; daughters Deb Larsell Snyder of Albany, and Deanne Larsell of Portland; sons Dan and Dennis Larsell both of Albany;  eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers Floyd, Joe, and Don Simmons.A private family graveside service will be held at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland.  In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Samaritan Albany General Hospital Oncology Department. AAsum-Dufour Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
