IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Beverly "Bj"
Jablonski
September 16, 1959 – April 21, 2025
On April 21st, 2025, Beverly Marcelle Jablonski, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, passed from this life into God's glorious presence. As the Bible states in 2 Corinthians 5:8, "We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord." She passed to this new life peacefully, in her home, surrounded by family.
Born in Riverhead, NY on September 16th, 1959, Beverly (BJ) lived in rural Eastern Long Island in Jamesport, NY, a small farming community. She attended Mercy High School in Riverhead, NY where she brushed elbows with her husband-to-be, Dan. The two met and dated early in their college life and were married. They celebrated their 47th wedding anniversary this last February. In 1978 the couple moved from New York to Oregon. BJ fell in love with the natural beauty of the state. They moved from Blue River to Alpine and then to Albany where they have lived since 1994.
BJ was an expert in hospitality. She made everyone who came through the doors of her house feel at home, well fed and well loved and cared for. BJ will be remembered for her great smile, warm laughter, generous hugs, playing 'last tag' and calling everyone 'beautiful'. She was a true inspiration in her focus of loving others through her kind efforts in every situation she found herself, with the need for very few words. BJ had a passion for cooking, gardening and fine dining. Mostly she loved spending time with family, especially her 'grands'.
Some of her vocations and skills included swimming, deep sea diving, cooking and catering food for large events, blueberry farm management, and end of life care for the elderly. BJ had a deep interest and daily devotion to the Bible. She had filled many notepads with church sermons and with the inspirations that her daily bible study brought her. She was deeply devoted to Jesus Christ, Father God, and the Holy Spirit.
BJ was a dedicated wife to Dan, her partner, for 47 years, and a devoted mother to her children: Leigh (Jeremy) Wyenberg, Christopher (Kelsey) Jablonski, Benjamin Jablonski (Brittany Johnston), Elizabeth (Cameron) Shockley, and a devoted grandmother to their children: Danica Wyenbeg, Adalyn Wyenberg, Lukas Wyenberg, Andrew Wyenberg, Brooklyn Jablonski, Jordan Jablonski, Mason Shockley, Lincoln Shockley. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Patrick and Mildred Faber. She will be greatly missed by everyone who she has met and shared time with. We love you BJ.
BJ loved gardening but also had a heart of generosity. Please consider donating to one of the charities BJ supported. A small list of links is provided under the Donations section of this webpage. Feel free to make the donation in her name. Thank you.
