Obituary

Beverly J. Stutzman, 62, of Albany passed away on Saturday at the Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center.
Beverly was born in Silverton to Lloyd and Ruth (Jantzi) Hooley. She grew up in Hubbard and graduated from Western Mennonite High School in 1969. She married Carlo "Dick" Stutzman on May 30, 1970, at the Zion Mennonite Church and they lived in Lebanon before moving to a farm in south Albany in 1973. Beverly and Dick lived on the farm until Dick passed away on Feb. 18, 2003. She later moved to her home on Del Rio Avenue.
Beverly attended Albany First Assembly of God Church for many years and enjoyed traveling with Dick in their motor home, spending time in their vacation home on the Alsea River, doing crafts of all kinds, and her grandchildren: buying them cloths, attending their sporting events and reading to them. Beverly very much loved all things Christmas.
Beverly is survived by daughters Angela and husband Larry Sclabach of Albany, Nicole Wesson and Michael Wesson of Tualatin, and Heather and husband Aaron Sadowsky of Albany; mother Ruth Schlabach of Albany; brother Lyle Hooley of Kona, Hawaii; sister Evelyn Cox of Albany; and grandchildren Paige, Journee, Zack, Spencer and Payton.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lloyd, and husband Dick.
A celebration of life will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 13, at Albany First Assembly of God Church.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Samaritan Heart Center in care of the funeral home.
