Bonnie Jean (Saltzman) Stutzman, 85 of Albany, formerly of Lebanon, passed away Friday.
Bonnie was born Jan. 27, 1930, in Shickley, Nebraska, to Ben and Gertrude (Schweitzer) Saltzman.
On Sept. 17, 1950, she married Donald Stutzman and they recently enjoyed a celebration of 65 years.
In 1958 Don and Bonnie moved to Oregon with their five children, Kevin, Judy and triplets Donald, Darreld and Darwin.
Bonnie spent her early years as a wife, mother and homemaker. When the kids were older she worked at the lunch counter at Adams Pharmacy in Lebanon. Bonnie loved to cook and her cinnamon rolls were her signature, even appearing on AM Northwest with Jim Bosley.
Bonnie is survived by husband, Donald; son Kevin and wife Marilyn; daughter Judy Albrecht and husband Dale; son Don and wife Lori; and son Darwin; 11 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; brothers Roland, Don, Darreld, Aubrey and Gary; sisters Barbara Eichelberger and Mattie Kuhns; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Gaylord; sister Ruby Kennel; and son Darreld.
A viewing will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30, at AAsum-Dufour Funeral Home. A funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, at Oakcreek Christian Center.
