Obituary

Brady Nofziger, husband, father, son, and brother, passed away, leaving a legacy of dedication, hard work, and love for his family and the land. Born on October 28, 1982, in Lebanon, Oregon, to Tom and Jill, he joined his older brother, Dusty, and began a life deeply rooted in family and farming. Brady attended Tennessee School and graduated from Lebanon Union High School in 2001. Brady was born with an innate mechanical skill and a passion for all things related to farming and machinery. He worked for Don Gnos for several years, contributing his talents to the family farm and the broader agricultural community. In 2013, Brady's expertise led him to North Dakota and Maine, where he worked as a heavy equipment mechanic for Phillips & Jordan Heavy Equipment. On July 30, 2016, Brady married Cassandra Shank, beginning a new chapter filled with love and adventure. Afterward, he moved on to work with Peed Equipment, which took him to job sites across California, Nevada, Texas, Florida, Tennessee, and North Carolina before returning home in 2022. Back in Oregon, he joined Zach Miller Farms, where he focused on grass seed and sheep farming and began nurturing his own hazelnut orchard, a project he was passionate about until his passing. Family life was a joy for Brady. In April 2020, he and Cassie welcomed their first daughter, Blakley Lynn, and in November 2021, they celebrated the arrival of their second daughter, Tatum Lorraine. Brady found his greatest happiness in his family's company and cherished every moment spent with them. He is survived by his wife, Cassie; daughters, Blakley and Tatum; his parents, Tom and Jill; and his brother, Dusty. Brady's life exemplified hard work, love for the land, and the importance of family. His memory will be cherished by those who knew him, and his legacy will live on in the fields he worked, the family he loved, and the community he served.
