IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Brenda Kay
Stephens
February 3, 1979 – February 8, 2020
Brenda passed away after a long four year battle with breast cancer. She was brave and fought as long as was allowed. She fought long and hard and maintained a positive attitude throughout the end. She was a confident young woman who was willing to give a helping hand to anyone and gave everyone the benefit of the doubt.
Brenda loved going to the Rose Gardens whenever she was able, as this was a sign of life to her (viewing the beautiful blossoms). She loved living in Oregon because it allowed her to enjoy trips to the coast or the desert areas. She loved life! She loved children even though by choice, she had none of her own. Brenda loved being able to live in a place that allowed her to see all four seasons, that is what Oregon meant to her. She loved her dogs and always knew that she would see each and every one of them that had been a part of her life. She always believed she would head for The Rainbow Bridge and they would be there to greet, welcome and care for her.
Brenda was a wonderful, loving woman and will be truly missed. She will always be in our hearts for the person that she was, happy, a fighter and constantly smiling for those who knew her. Her wishes were to be cremated and have her ashes distributed by her mother.
Brenda's wishes were to have no flowers. She preferred that anyone who chose, to send the cost of those flowers to St Jude's Children's Hospital in her memory to help the children fight for life as she did.
