Carol Carson, 72 of Albany, Oregon passed away on Monday, February 22, 2021 in her home.

Carol was born in Portland, Oregon to James Edward Carson and Frances Coriene (Chapman) Carson. She grew up in Gresham and graduated Centennial High School in 1967. She then went on to Oregon State University and graduated with a degree in Animal Science. After graduation, she returned to OSU and worked for over 30 years in their copying and printing department before finally retiring.

Through her lifetime, she was an avid equestrian, racquetball champion and world traveler. She loved her family and friends dearly. Carol loved her pets and would give generously to local charities to include Dogs for Better Lives and the YMCA. Carol's legendary love of her many Birkenstock sandals was well known to all who knew her and was a frequent topic of fun and enjoyable conversation.

Carol is survived by her only nephew Christopher Carson. She was preceded in death by her parents, her older sister Sharon Powell of Des Moines, Iowa and her older brother Stephen M. Carson of Dover, Tennessee.
