Carol Sue MowdyJuly 25, 1950 - June 19, 2008Carol Sue Mowdy, 57, of Lebanon passed away Thursday at Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital. She was born in Portland, the daughter of Al and Betty (Mace) Coburn.  She was raised in the Carlton-McMinnville area and came to the Albany area in 1968.  Carol enjoyed camping, crocheting, and working puzzles. She is survived by son Michael Mowdy of Albany; daughters Audrey and husband Russell Stephens of Albany and Angela Mowdy of Lebanon; eight grandchildren;  father Al Coburn of Canby; sisters P.D. Smith of British Columbia, Canada, Milly King of Keizer, and Wanda and husband Gerald Hartwick of Portland; brothers Bud and wife Ellen Coburn, and Don Coburn all of Canby; stepsisters Lisa Jo Wood of O'Dell and Dorothy Abernathy of Bend; stepbrothers Larry Wood and Lenny Wood, both of The Dalles.She was preceded in death by her mother Betty Wood.A celebration of life will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at AAsum-Dufour Funeral Home with a reception to follow.  AAsum-Dufour Funeral Home is handling arrangements ( www.aasum-dufour.com ).
