Carol Ann Abel WilsonJuly 7, 1941 - Sept. 8, 2009Carol Ann Abel Wilson as know as "Punky" and "Twiggy" passed away on Tuesday.She was born in Sacramento, Calif., to Norman and Wanda (Knight) Abel.  She grew up in California and Oregon.  she married Darrel Wilson and was widowed about a year later.  She remained in Albany over the years and worked as a bartender at Westerner, Pop's Branding Iron and the Stayton Cannery.  She loved spending time with her family, gardening, NASCAR and watching pro football.She was preceded in death eath by a sister, Shirley Cannon of Escondido, Calif.She is survived by Jerry Reynolds partner and best friend in the world.  He called her "Ding" - she called him many things. Also surviving are children, Dena Mezzanares of Holley, and Dewey and Kim Hoskins and Desra and John O. Larkins of Albany; grandchildren Nathen Peoples, Deion Peoples, Thomas Earnest of Alaska, Casey Earnest of Jefferson, JoLeen Haskett, Chance Becknel, Brandi Hoskins of Albany and Dewey Hoskins Jr. of Albany, Jenny Haskett and Cody Becknel of Holley, Sara Hoskins of Tualatin; great-grandchildren Rowdy Haskett, Gabriel Haskett, Mariano Haskett, Cainen Perkins, Jazmyne Perkins and Autzen Perkins all of Albany, Briaunu Stephens of Tualatin; Trista Haskett, Eathen Haskett, Blaze Haskett and Ransom Haskett of Holley; and many other family and friends.A memorial celebrating her life will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at 39567 Santiam Bluff Rd.
