Carole Jean (Biernat) Bentz, 70, passed away Friday after a long illness.
She was born in Duluth, Minn., the daughter of Raymond "Pat" and Gertrude (Wickman) Biernat. She married David Bentz on May 27, 1961, in Duluth.
Carol is survived by her husband, David; children Ann Bentz, Toby Bentz, Amy Skoviak, and Thomas Bentz and husband Tracie; and seven grandchildren.
