Casey John Myers passed away on Thursday, Dec. 17, 2015, at home with his wife and family. He was born in Burlingame, California, to Herbert and Vera Myers. He grew up in Milbrae, California. He moved to Alpine in 1992 and later to Brownsville.
During his working life he was a sheet metal journeyman, Local 104 Northern California and Local 16 Portland.
Casey enjoyed his family, brewing beer, fishing, golfing, hiking, camping, music and football.
Casey is survived by his wife, Patty Myers; stepson Josh Meuli of Hillsboro; brothers Tim Myers of Sierra Vista, Arizona, Michael (Kristine) Myers of Talent, and Patrick (Colleen) Myers of Auburn, California; sisters Mary Ann (Bart) Haueter of Boring, and Kate (Kent) Higgins of Sonoma, California; stepmother Betty Lou Myers of Mill Creek, Washington; two stepsisters, Kristine Decozio and Patty Magnuson; and several loving nieces and nephews.
Donations can be made to KRVM Public Radio and/or Colon Cancer Alliance.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
