Charlene Hill passed peacefully at age 91.

Charlene was born to Edna and Melvin Alvey in Seattle, Washington on March 4, 1926.

She was a long time North Albany resident and dairy farmer's wife to Ival Hill. They were married for 69 years before his death in 2012.

Charlene is survived by her three children, Malena Konek of Frenchglen, Ivalene Hickey (Dennis) of Eugene, and John Hill of Albany; two grandchildren, Analisa Chambers (Elijah) of Eugene and Andrew Hickey of Tokyo, Japan; two great grandsons, Mason and Maxwell Chambers.

Her parents and brothers William (Jerry) and Huntley Alvey of Coos Bay preceded her in death.

A memorial service is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. on Friday May 19 at North Albany Community Church 1273 W. Thornton Lake Dr. Albany. A lite luncheon and gathering will follow.

Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. at the North Palestine Cemetery 5201 NW Palestine Ave. North Albany.
