Chris Schwarz February 16, 1971 - June 26, 2023

Chris Schwarz was born on February 16, 1971 and died on Monday, June 26, 2023 at his home.

Chris was 52 and lived in Jefferson Oregon with his wife Stephanie and several of their children. He is survived by his 5 wonderful children aged 17-24 at the time of his death. Adrian, Samus, Melanie, Gwendolyn and Imogene.

Chris was born in Salem, Oregon to Fred Schwarz and Sally Ritter. He grew up in Salem and met Stephanie there in February 1998. They were married in July 1998, had a bunch of  kids and then moved to Jefferson in 2005 to raise them in a small town.

Chris loved to help and worked with people with disabilities his whole life. He enjoyed being an employment specialist to help them get jobs, so they could live fulfilling lives.

Chris loved gardening, cooking, and reading science fiction. He is extremely loved and will be greatly missed forever.

A memorial service will be at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Jefferson Oregon on July 8th at 3:00pm. It will be broadcast over zoom for family and friends that live far away.
