Obituary

Clinton Benjamin Taskinen passed away on the morning of Thursday, May 16, 2019.

Clint was born in San Diego, CA to Benjamin and Anita Taskinen. He grew up and attended school in Portland, OR. In 1985, he moved with his family to Brownsville. During his life, Clint worked as a farrier, bookbinder, and a graphic designer. He also worked as a groundskeeper for the City of Brownsville as well as for several golf courses in Oregon.

Clint was married to his wife Nancy for 37 years. He attended First Baptist Church of Brownsville for many years as well as Turning Point Church in Lebanon. Clint enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, playing guitar, and storytelling. He took part in several Carriage Me Back reenactments in his role as "Rattlesnake Bob".

Clint is preceded in death by both of his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy; sons, Caleb & Jacob; daughters, Jessica, Andrea, & Debi; grandson, Josiah; and his brother, Clay. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and will be missed greatly.

His memorial service will be held at the First Baptist Church in Brownsville at 3:00 pm on Saturday, May 25th.
