Clyde Webb 76 of Albany, passed away on Sunday.
Clyde was born in Leslie, Ark., to Luther and Okla (Massey) Webb. When Clyde was in high school the family moved to Kansas City, where he graduated from Manual High.
In 1960 he joined the army and served in Korea. He was honorably discharged in 1962. After his discharge he took classes and taught computer science at Central Oregon Community College. He worked for US Forrest service at the Bend , Oregon Civiculture Laboratory where he did statical data entry for research on growth plots.
He worked in the computer lab at Portland State University then transferred to Oregon State University. He retired from Oregon State after 30 plus years.
Clyde married Carol Beaver on June 13, 1964 in Bend. They have two daughters together.
Clyde enjoyed playing with his grandchildren and helping his wife with their bakery and making Elegant Lace Molds.
Clyde is survived by his wife Carol; daughters Wendy Webb, and Deri Dannenbrink; and grandchildren Michaela, Elizabeth, Sarah, Hannah, Maria and Peter Dannenbrink (Proverbs 17:6).
He is also survived by one sister Maxine Vassar of Leavenworth, Kansas
Private interment will take place at National Memorial Cemetery in Arizona.
