Obituary
Cynthia Eileen Pedder, 58, of Monmouth passed away on Wednesday at Willamette Valley Medical Center in McMinnville.
Cynthia was born in Newport Beach, Calif., to David and Jeanette (Shaw) Dewitz. She grew up in Oregon and married Michael Eugene Pedder in Albany in 1971. She attended the Albany Missionary Baptist Church.
Cynthia is survived by her husband of 42 years, Michael E. Pedder; son Michael D. Pedder; daughters Carol J. Sells, Karina M. Pedder and Katrina I. Sims; brothers David Dewitz and Jack 'Duke' James; sisters Caralyn S. Freeman and Dustie S. Rose; 15 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. today at the Alpine Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in care of the funeral home.
