Obituary
Darlene Marie Diller 76, of Albany passed away Tuesday at her home.
She was born in Salem the daughter of Earnest W. and Rosalie Mae (Belton) Smith. She married Charles E. "Chuck" Diller in Salem on Aug. 1, 1953. Darlene enjoyed traveling with Chuck and taking care of her family.
She is survived by her husband, Chuck; daughter Jan Modin of Klamath Falls, sons Larry, David, and Jeff, and loving daughter-in-law Toni, all of Albany; and grandchildren Jon Modin of Salem, Josh Modin of Klamath Falls, Tom Modin of Albany, Brandon Diller of Albany and Matthew Diller of Corvallis. Darlene was also blessed with seven great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 21, at Tangent Community Church, 32114 Tangent Drive, with Pastor David Carlene officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to Samaritan Evergreen Hospice and sent in care of the funeral home.
