Obituary
Darold Frank Edwards went home to be with the Lord on 18 August, 2015.
Darold was born in 1932 to Dallas "Tex" and Elsie Edwards, who preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Patricia, three children: Colynn Howell, Shawn Soto and Michael Edwards, eight grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Dwight Edwards and his sister Doris McReynolds.
Darold loved hunting, fishing and enjoying the great outdoors. His passion was studying his Bible and sharing the Word of God with others. He worked as an electrician for many years. He often volunteered to wire churches around the state.
Darold wrote numerous songs, which he was glad to sing at anytime. He has also written many thought-provoking Christian books.
A graveside service at Jefferson Pioneer Cemetery is scheduled for 10am on Friday, August 28, followed by a celebration of life open-house 1-3pm at AAsum-Dufour Funeral Home in Albany.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Evergreen Hospice House, in Albany, Oregon.
