It is with extreme sadness that Diane's spouse and partner, Neil and her extended family report her passing on December 30, 2010.

Following the discharge from hospital the day prior, she was under hospice care comfortable and peacefully in her chosen location (the room of her 'ohm' ) in her family home on in Corvallis, Oregon.

Born in the city of Toronto, Ontario, Canada to John and Marian Bunn on July 10th, 1942 - Diane is survived by her three younger brothers, Ken, Bob and Neil Bunn all still residing in the Province of Ontario, Canada.

Diane's three children, from her previous marriage to Don Lounds , Jon (Mel) of Brooklin, Ontario, Sarah (Rob) of Kamloops , BC and Robert (Melanie) of Aurora, Ontario. The unions of those three children Jon (Mel), Sarah (Rob), and Robert (Melanie) have produced nine wonder-full grandchildren to date, on Diane's side of the ledger. Tyler, Nolan, Alyssa, AJ, Tamara, Brittany, Joshua, Madeline, and Danielle (children of Jen).

Her smile, spirit, values, deeply ingrained Anglican faith, inspiration, strength, peace, beauty and her will to live each day to the fullest and continue to serve others outside her was profound.

Her association with groups was extensive; In Ontario, Canada the lunch lady at Pleasantville School, lay administrator at St. Mary's Church, block parent coordinator, counsellor /teacher at Milliken High School, two bridge groups, Ladies Lunch bunch, "the street" (435 Easy Street), In Naperville, Illinois she was involved with walking, running (led by Bob Scott), triathlons, The College of DuPage,Grace Methodist Church
it was there that she met Lois Parr. There she became a member of the Questors; Sunday school class. In Corvallis she instructed at Linn Benton Community College, was involved with a grass roots hiking group, volunteered for Good Samaritan Church, CARDV, RSVP and the Ovarian Cancer support group. By extension at LBC, a group of women founded a secret society known as SOL.

Excerpt from Sylvia: What an inspiration she is. I remember when my husband was sick with cancer and he watched me run a 5k in Naperville. I can't begin to tell you how hard it was for me to run that distance but when I talked to Diane and found that on the same day she had run a triathlon and came in first for her age group, I was amazed. What a woman!!!

Excerpt from Jan (Ovarian Cancer Support Group) This week, the Corvallis community lost a wonderful woman to a very serious disease (ovarian cancer).
