Obituary
Dorene Shemwell, 88, of Albany passed away Saturday at Family Ties Adult Foster Care.
Dorene was born in Albany to Fay and Hilda (Peterson) Douglas. She grew up in Albany and graduated from Albany Union High School. Dorene was a longtime member of Willamette Community Church.
Dorene is survived by daughter Sheryl Christiansen, sister Mary Harvill, cousin Travelle Williams, special nephew Kenn Holmes, seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
At her request no public services will be held.
