IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Edward "Ed"
Ebbs
July 19, 1954 – April 14, 2025
Edward "Ed" Ebbs, a man whose zest for life was as abundant as his love for his family, embarked on his final journey on April 14, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of joy and inspiration. Born on July 19, 1954, in Los Angeles, CA, Ed's radiant spirit found its sunset in Albany, OR. He is survived by the love of his life, Paula and children Nathan, Aimee, Ray, Shon, and Josh. Along with his sisters Rhonda, Yvonne, and Margaret, Ed was blessed by a vibrant tapestry of cousins, nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. Ed's 42-year tenure at Oregon Freeze Dry was marked by his dedication and ingenuity as a production supervisor, electrician, and PLC programmer. His passion for poetry and gardening blossomed into a beautiful reflection of his inner creativity, while memories of his youthful adventures in swimming, SCUBA diving, and rugby remained cherished tales of his spirited past. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Yvonne Ebbs, and his grandparents, Yves and Wynnette Trebaol, and Martha Ebbs. Today, we celebrate Ed's remarkable journey—a life lived with purpose, love, and a touch of adventure. His story encourages us all to dive deeply, love fiercely, and grow something beautiful in the garden of life.
