With profound sadness, we announce the sudden passing of Elaine Marie Anthony, who passed away unexpectedly in her home on February 17, 2025, at the age of 47. She was born in Dallas, Oregon, to Mary Ann Castillo and the late Guadalupe Castillo.

Elaine was known for her generous spirit, kind heart, and the deep love she had for those around her. She had a passion for baseball, especially for the Seattle Mariners, and she and her husband of ten years, Charles, shared many joyful moments following their favorite players together.

Elaine's love for animals was evident in her life. After purchasing their first home, she and Charles welcomed two beloved border collies, Penny and Leonard, along with their cherished cats, Gus and Buttercup. Together, they created a warm and inviting home, spending time outdoors and making beautiful memories at the beach with their dogs.

Professionally, Elaine dedicated many years to the banking industry, where she not only assisted others but also served as a mentor, making a lasting impact on many lives.

Elaine is survived by her mother, Mary Ann, her husband, Charles, and her siblings: Joel, Jesse, Fidencia, Guadalupe, Magdalena, and Josie, along with their families. She was preceded in death by her father, Guadalupe Castillo, in 2022.

A small private family gathering will be held in the coming days. A Celebration of Life will take place in the spring, where all who knew and loved Elaine will be welcome to attend.
