Elizabeth Elda GoebelFeb. 18, 1916 to March 2, 2010Our dear mother, Elizabeth Elda Goebel, 94, passed away surrounded by her daughters and two grandchildren.She was born in Hillsboro, Kans., to Aron and Elizabeth Schellenberg. She married William Goebel in 1933 and moved to Dallas in 1946. Mother loved her God, reading the Bible, music and visits from her grandchildren.She is survived by her five children, Leon, Darrell, Jean, Gary, and Sharon; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one brother; and four sisters. She was preceded in death by her husband, William in 1971; and her infant daughter Joann in 1936.Mother was laid to rest next to our father at Willamette Memorial Cemetery in Albany, Oregon.  AAsum-Dufour Funeral Home handled arrangements.
