Obituary
Elsie Kathleen Landauer, 76, of Albany passed away Friday.
In loving memory, her family is celebrating her life. She will be remembered for her successes in life, a result of her strength, tenacity and leadership, and for her generosity in supporting her friends and family.
She was born to Carrie and Peter Janzen in Portland, Oregon, was married in 1952 to Kenneth Lewis Landauer, and is survived by her five children, five grandchildren, two great grandchildren, a brother and three sisters. She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth, her parents Carrie and Peter, and a son Jonathon.
Elsie was a very successful realtor in Albany, Oregon for 36 years, was active in the community and with the Oregon Realtor's Association. She served the ORA as Secretary, and was the President in 1983. In 1984 she was elected Realtor of the Year. She also co-founded ABC Realty, for which she was a partner for many years.
A Memorial Service in her honor will be held in Albany, Oregon at Aasum-Dufour funeral home on Saturday August 14, 2010 at 3:00 pm; reception to follow. ( www.aasum-dufour.com )
