Ervin A. Becker, 86 of Albany, passed away Tuesday morning at Regency of Albany.

He was born in Circle, Montana the son of Fred and Magdelina (Morlock) Becker. Ervin was raised in Circle and married Gloria June Bailey in Joliet, Montana on Oct. 17, 1948 and they made their home in Circle working a farm. In 1953 they moved to another farm in Laurel, Montana and then in 1963 they came to Corvallis. In 1974 they moved to the Eugene/Springfield area and Ervin worked as a mechanic and for U-Haul until retiring in 1990 when they sold their home and became full time RVers. in 1993 they moved to Albany to be closer to their family. Gloria preceded Ervin in death March 26, 1999.

Ervin enjoyed working and was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Albany.

He is survived by twin daughters Julie Sanford and Judy Peterson of Albany, grand-daughter Stacee "Keidi" Thompson, Great grand-daughter Kelsey Thompson, great grandsons; Karter Thompson, Kyson "Icah" Thompson all of Albany and sister Eleanor Pruett of Texas.

Private family entombment was held at Springfield Memorial Gardens in Springfield, OR. AAsum-Dufour Funeral Home is handling arrangements. ( www.aasum-dufour.com )
