Ethelyn Marie HaightJanuary 6, 1917 - September 20, 2008Ethelyn Marie Haight, 91, of Albany passed away Saturday at her home.She was born in Brownsville, the daughter of Walter A. and Bertha L. (Wright) Watson. She is survived by husband William S. Haight; daughter Carol Gowey; son Bobbie Dean Pittman; three step-children; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her father Walter Watson and mother Bertha Wright Watson.A private family entombment will be Wednesday at Willamette Memorial Park.  A celebration of life will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the VFW, 1469 Timber St.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Albany Safe Haven Animal Shelter or Corvallis Center Against Rape and Domestic Violence in care of the funeral home.  AAsum-Dufour Funeral Home is handling the arrangements ( www.aasum-dufour.com ).
