Eva Christel Leeson passed away on July 29, 2025, in her home at Quail Run Assisted Living, Mennonite Village Campus in Albany, Oregon.

Eva was born in Stettin, Germany on September 24,1929 to Arthur and Emma Kloth. She grew up in Berlin along with her brothers, Siegfried, Horst, Charlie and Arno. After the war was over in Germany, she fell in love with Marshall, an American Soldier that was stationed in Berlin. They married and after his discharge from the Army in 1949 they returned to Albany, Oregon to raise their family.

Eva had numerous jobs in Albany while she was busy raising their boys. She worked as a waitress at The Red Hat Restaurant, a sales associate at Penny Mayfair Apparel and babysitting. Eva was a member of Immanuel and Holy Cross Lutheran Churches. For many years she was involved with the Ladies Guild at her church. Eva loved to go camping, read, knit, crochet and various crafts.

She is survived by her four sons: Raymond of Philomath, Harold (Karen) of Eugene, Ralph (Jennifer) of Albany and Terry of Albany. Grandchildren: Angaelika (Scott) Gould, Ryan Leeson, Megan (Ryan) Lentz, Annie Leeson, David (Joanna) Wright, Brian (Claire) Leeson and Jeff Leeson. Great-Grandchildren: Franki (Jason) Kesling, Hudson Gould, Emmett Gould, Cash Leeson, Zachary (Jayda) Lentz, Alex (Maile) Lentz, Ezra Lentz, Grace Lentz, Thomas Burriel, Elizabeth Burriel, Kate Burriel and Dominic Wright. Great-great grandchildren: Kylie Kesling, Reese Franklin, Maci Lentz, Zander Lentz, Kinzlee Lenz, Malea Lentz, Isaaha Krider-Lentz and Paisley Lentz.

Eva was preceded in death by her husband Marshall, her parents, siblings, daughter-in-law Rosanna Leeson, grandson Jonathan Wright and great-grandson Tucker Leeson.

A Celebration of Life service is scheduled for 2:00p.m. Friday, August 8, 2025 in the Lakeside Center at the Mennonite Village Campus, 2180 54th Ave SE Albany, Oregon.
