IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Evelene E.
Lytle
December 4, 1964 – September 21, 2016
Evelene Elaine Lytle
Dec. 4, 1964 — Sept. 21, 2016
Evelene Elaine Lytle (formerly Deeds) passed away peacefully on Sept. 21, 2016, in Albany at the young age of 51.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Darrell Dean Lytle. Evelene was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, niece, cousin, fiancée and friend.
Evelene is survived by her parents, John and Carolyn Deeds of Albany; children Jessica Ficek, Jamie Peterson and Justin Lytle; siblings Cheryl Leeder of Myrtle Creek, John Deeds Jr. of Corvallis, Jeff Deeds of Otis, Oregon, Belinda Deeds of Albany and Darlene Breeden of Bend; grandchildren Ashlynn Magee, Austin Ficek, Ivy Ficek, Amara Peterson and Silas Peterson; as well as many more family members throughout the country.
Evelene was born on Dec. 4, 1964, in Upland, California, to John and Carolyn Deeds. She married her husband, Darrell, on Nov. 20, 1982, and over the next five years, they joyfully welcomed their three children into the world. She found her greatest happiness in making a home for her family. Evelene's beloved husband, Darrell, passed away in 2011, but she found love again in the winter of 2015 with her fiancé, Curtis Holmes.
Evelene's family and friends remember her as a kind, gentle, patient, and a loving person. She was a sister, daughter, best friend and guardian angel to all who crossed her path. She was not just God's gift to her family; she was a gift to everyone whom she came into contact with. Above all, Evelene was a mother, not only to her children, but to all children who were in need of motherly love. Children were her love and passion. Her unconditional love extended far and beyond, and continues on through all of those who were blessed to know her.
Evelene was an accomplished writer, and she was a beautifully creative woman that could accomplish anything she put her mind to. Evelene was dedicated to her family, loved her grandchildren, and spent most of her time in the woods, on the beach and in the outdoors. Evelene was passionate about helping others, and valued giving to those in need.
"My love is higher than the sky, deeper than the sea, you and me together for all eternity."
– Evelene Elaine Lytle
