Evelyn Belle (Edwards) Gragg spent many years raising families, growing vegetables, quilting, painting, knitting and baking. She was a homemaker and an entrepreneur, owning and operating The Uniform Shop in Port Angeles for many years with her sister.
Evelyn and her husband Kenneth Gragg spent the majority of their lives in Port Angeles followed by a move in 2009 to The Mennonite Village in Albany, Ore. Here they were able to connect with many family members and enjoyed meeting their village neighbors.
Evelyn was loved by many and gave every one of them greater love in return. She had an incredible garden, a delicate heart and a serious sweet tooth.
Over the past few years she had become a big fan of Facebook, staying connected to her family and engaging many of them in friendly, but competitive, games of Words with Friends.
Evelyn passed away Monday, March 26th in Albany, Oregon and private services will be held by the family at a later date.
Evelyn, otherwise known as 'Granny', gave the 'gift of life' to many as she is survived by he daughters Karen Neal and husband Bill of Albany, Shara Smith of Port Angeles; 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
