Obituary
Fern Emma Dresselhaus, 95, of Albany passed away on Friday at Kaiser Sunnyside Hospital.
Fern was born in Independence, Iowa, to Lewis and Minnie Sarah (Cutshall) Sly .
She married Arthur Maxwell "Max" Dresselhaus in Portland, Oregon on June 6, 1944. Max passed away in 2005.
Fern worked as a nursing aid taking care of Alzheimer's patients, and was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. She also enjoyed painting.
Fern is survived by sons Lee and Gregory W. and daughter-in-law Kathy . She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband Max.
A graveside service will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday at Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens and Mausoleum. A memorial Service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Albany.
