Florence Evelyn Sullivan HeinisMarch 2, 1927 - May 24, 2010Florence Evelyn Heinis, 83, of Albany, passed away Monday at the Mennonite Home.She was born at the family home in Lyon County, Minn., the youngest of seven children to Sam and Clara May (Henkel) Sullivan.  She was a homemaker and married Gilbert James Heinis on Feb. 14, 1946.  They had two sons, Alan and Dale.  She was active in the VFW, Eagles, and American Legion sewing club.She is survived by son, Alan and wife Linda Heinis of Salem; granddaughters Melissa and husband George Brown of Eugene,  Angela and husband William McCormick of Albany; grandson Sean and wife Angel Olson of Keizer; five great grandchildren; sisters Martha Williams of Albany and Mary Neynes of Russel, Minn.; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husband, Gilbert James Heinis on Dec. 13, 2009; son Dale, sister Edna Holling; and brothers Lester, Leroy, and Marvin Sullivan.  Memorial contributions may be made to Samaritan Evergreen Hospice and sent in care of the funeral home. Memorial services will be held at 1 PM Friday, June 18 at AAsum-Dufour Funeral Home.  AAsum-Dufour Funeral Home is handling arrangements.  ( www.aasum-dufour.com )
