Obituary
Georgia Mae Georg, 65, of Albany died Thursday at her home.
Georgia Mae was born in Medford, the youngest daughter of George and Bettymae (Collins) Ray. She lived in the Medford area before moving to Albany, where she graduated from Albany Union High School in 1967.
She married Jack C. Georg in Albany on June 13, 1970. He preceded her in death in March of 1995.
She enjoyed writing, researching family genealogy, reading and crocheting. She recently became a member of DAR.
She is survived by her son, Jon and wife Aleta of Washington; two grandchildren, Nigel and Keladry; sister Patricia (Niemi) of Albany; several nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
