Jerry H. Rosenkoetter

December 8, 1942 - August 16, 2022

Jerry Rosenkoetter 79 of Salem, passed away on Tuesday, at Salem Hospital.

Jerry was born in St. Louis, MO to Harold and Evelyn (Hoepf) Rosenkoetter. He grew up in St. Louis and graduated from the University of Chicago. He also studied at the University of Oregon and received a computer science degree from Chemeketa Community college. Jerry married Julie G. Davis on June 9, 1974. He worked for the Oregon State Employment Dept. and retired in 2017. Jerry loved all things outdoors; hiking, canoeing, bird watching/photography, travel, and his pets. Jerry collected fast food toys and enjoyed animated films. He was a member of the Audubon Society, Friday Night Pizza Club, Geezer Club, and past president/vice-president of local SEIU.

Jerry is survived by wife Julie Gail Rosenkoetter; brother Alan Rosenkoetter; brother-in-law Ray Davis, nieces Pam Reibach and Debbi Hysmith; nephew Brian Lee; great nieces Kristina Umscheid and Bree Campbell and great nephew Brandon Lee.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday August 27th,1pm to 4pm at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 1444 Liberty St SE Salem, OR 97302

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Audubon Society.
