Obituary

Glenn Justin Dryden, 86, of Albany passed away at his home May 1, 2013. Glenn was born in Outlook, MT, July 20, 1926, the son of Alden "Delno" and Martha (Miner) Dryden. He grew up and attended school in Noxon, Mt. He joined the army in December of 1944 and served in the Philippines. Glenn worked in metallurgy. He was known for his welding and ability to fix anything. He worked for various mills in Montana and in the Albany area, eventually retiring from Wah Chang in Albany.
Glenn loved spending time with his fellow vets, friends and neighbors. He was an active member of the VFW, and had been an avid bowler and golfer; he loved camping, and enjoyed many happy family reunions. A loving father and grandfather, Glenn spent a lot of time over the years making toys, dressers, chairs, just about anything the family needed or wanted.
Glenn was preceded in death by his wives Katherine Lenor, Betty Jo Tidwell, and Ellen Resch Dryden; brothers Jay, Lloyd (Arvid), and Don; sister Ora; and son Casey Resch. He is survived by his brother Larry; sisters Velva Seto, and Jeannie Graber; children Kay Larado, Ruth Resch Hellen, Chuck Resch, Diane Resch Mellem, John Resch, Roxy Resch Griner, Randy Resch, Greg Resch, Joe Resch, Steve Resch, Debbie Plagmann, Dan Cook, and Taresa Goldsworthy; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He will be greatly missed.
A funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 4, at the Albany VFW. AAsum-Dufour Funeral Home is handling arrangements. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, May 10, in Noxon, MT at the Noxon Cemetery, Schnacckenberg and Nelson, in Libby, MT, is handling arrangements.
