Obituary
Gretchen Ann Schiely passed away peacefully at home at the age of 74.
She was born in Norfork, Nebraska.
Gretchen is survived by her children; son and daughter-in-law Mark and Valerie Schiely of Gresham; daughter and son-in-law Becky and Michael Stotler of Scio; daughter Jamie Schiely of Scio; 6 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband James Schiely; parents Paul and Ruth Weihe; and sister Marilyn Aarnes.
She has been a dear friend and resident of Scio, Oregon for the past 31 years.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on January 29th, 2011 at the Scio Baptist Church 38969 NW 3rd Ave Scio, OR 97374. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Evergreen Hospice and/or the Cancer Society. AAsum-Dufour Funeral Home handled the arrangements ( www.aasum-dufour.com ).
