Gwendolyn Carol Lampe, known affectionately as Gwen by her family and friends, graced this world with her presence on November 10, 1951, in Fresno, California. With a heart full of grace and a spirit imbued with kindness, Gwen passed away on September 28, 2025, in Albany after a battle of illness.

Gwen was a kind and sweet soul that never met a stranger. She loved everyone she met and would talk to anyone who would listen. Her gift of storytelling was unmatched. She could bring the past to life with her old stories, fond reminiscencing, sharing of laughter, wisdom and history all around. Full of spunk, energy and joy, Gwen carried her vibrant spirit till the end. She had a way of lifting up every room, making every person feel seen and loved.

Gwen will be dearly missed by all who knew her however her stories, her laughter and love will live in the hearts of her family and friends forever.

Survived by her children, Jason Lampe of Oregon and her daughter Jeanette Allison of California and two granddaughters, Monique Leyvas and Sherell Allison.
