Hazel was born in San Luis Obispo, California, in 1915 and moved to Albany in 1947 where her husband started Albany Propane Gas Co.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Coykendall, and her second husband Sherman Shine.
She has two children, Ivan Coykendall and Olga Coykendall Andersen. She has 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one grandchild.
She was a good mother and grandmother to her family as well as her stepchildren and their families.
