Jacqueline "Jackie" Lee Phillips, 58, of Jefferson passed away on
Wednesday at her home.
Jackie was born in Sioux City, Iowa, to Edward F. and Marcella A. (Olmstead) Steeg. She grew up in North Sioux City, South Dakota, and graduated from high school. She married Jack Phillips in Las Vegas in 1995. Jackie worked for 25 years as a self-employed barber and enjoyed photography and gardening. Jack and Jackie resided in Sioux City, Grants Pass and Sweet Home before moving to Jefferson.
Jackie is survived by husband, Jack Phillips of Jefferson; sons Jason Steeg of Williamsburg, Virginia, Scott Phillips of Vancouver, Washington, and Michael Phillips of Sioux City, Iowa; daughter Christine Craig of Sioux City, Iowa; brothers Butch Steeg of Lemars, Iowa, and Gary Steeg of Elk Point, South Dakota; sisters Valerie Harshfield of Oklahoma and Velta Hickey of South Dakota; four grandchildren and 19 nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
