James Howard Mixell Jr., 55, of Jefferson died Monday at the Samaritan Evergreen Hospice House.
He was born in Elmhurst, Ill., the son of James H. Sr. and Patricia A. (Caruso) Mixell.
He worked as a truck driver for many years and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
At his request no public services will be held.
