Jerry Irvin StoneMarch 5, 1939 - September 19, 2008Jerry Irvin Stone was born in Albany to Virgil Clarence & Louise Henriette (Dixon) Stone.  In 1979 he married Barbara Hembree in Scio.  He retired from Wah Chang.Below are personal passages written by Jerry.Dear Family and Friends,  If you are reading this then I have died and gone to a better place.  You should not feel sad for me as I have led a rich and full life.  I've done about everything I've wanted.  I even wrote a book.  I have made many friends in my life.  To those friends, I would like to say thank you for believing in me and being there when I needed you.To all my family who believed in me and loved me I wish you all peace I love you all very much.  Love, JerryTo the most important person in my world Barb my wonderful wife.  I leave you eternal love.  You have been my guiding light and my reason for living.  Even now that I 'm not physically beside you, I'll be with you always in your heart.  I love you sweetheart.  Do not cry for me baby I am well.  I love you, Bear.Barb and family would like to extend a special thank you to Qualicenters Dialysis Unit in Albany; the nurses, techs, staff and friends were all special to Jerry.  They made a difficult time much easier.  Their excellent care, concern and friendship was appreciated.Jerry is survived by his wife, three daughters, several grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and one sister.  He was preceded in death by his parents.At Jerry's request there will be no service.  AAsum-Dufour Funeral Home is handling the arrangements ( www.aasum-dufour.com ).
